Inspired by Saybrook's James Bugental, the not-for-profit Existential-Humanistic Institute has been offering training to Bay Area students for 8 years. The institute is located in San Francisco and utilizes some of the foremost existential therapy instructors in the country. These seasoned instructors have trained extensively with such masters as Rollo May, James Bugental, and Irvin Yalom. The institute also supports the work of humanistic therapists such as Carl Rogers,

The Existential Humanistic Institute is offering a Post-graduate consultation group in the San Francisco Bay area. The group is limited to eight licensed and license eligible Masters and/or Ph.D. psychotherapists. Consultation will focus on cases that illustrate the existential-humanistic orientation to therapeutic practice. This group is an opportunity to explore how all therapeutic orientations are enhanced by incorporating existential and humanistic perspectives.
